Meet the Founder, Michelle Martin
Michelle Martin founded C3 for Women® with the purpose of giving women business owners the opportunity to Connect, Collaborate and Create their success! Her mission through this association is to connect women business owners to the Knowledge, Resources and Support needed to create a profitable business and a purposeful life. C3 for Women’s events, workshops, and small group programs provide access to much needed support and collaboration that is often missing for women business owners today.
Known by clients and colleagues as “The Connector,” Michelle continues to go above and beyond the call of duty to expand her ability to link more and more women to each other, and is genuinely interested in seeing them grow and succeed. As exhibited in her mission to inspire collaboration among women business owners, she continually seeks input and advice, and is eager to learn what is working and what might be changed to further expand her quest to help others.
Michelle is the former publisher of Fort Worth Metro Woman, a local resource guide for women in the Fort Worth area. During her term as publisher, she provided local business owners and non-profit organizations an effective and affordable avenue to market their business through the publication. During this time, she modeled business success strategies that resulted in multiple years of six-figure revenue.
Michelle is a lifelong learner who seeks out extraordinary opportunities for knowledge, business development and personal growth that will allow her to fulfill her passion for connecting women entrepreneurs to business success. As a Certified MasterMind Executive Coach™, and a Success Circle Certified Coach™, she has access to proven systems that provide the framework for her work with women business owners one on one and in groups as a mentor, coach and skilled facilitator. Her own entrepreneurial experience, coupled with these programs and tools have paved the way for her to coach women business owners to their next level of success.
In 2010, Michelle was honored with a nomination from her peers and was named a Finalist for the International Femtor Business Matchmaker of the Year Award. Letters of recommendation noted her “clear professional success and her impact on the world,” “a gift for helping other women achieve their full potential on a personal and professional level,” and “unstoppable efforts to impact the quality of life for business women by the multiple programs she offers.” In addition, she was named as a finalist for the Entrepreneur Expo Mayor’s Small Business Award in 2008, serves on the Board of Directors for Knowledge for Success, a non-profit Fort Worth business development center, and was recently honored to be among a select few women featured in CRAVE Fort Worth, a unique book featuring the most creative, interesting and gutsy entreprenesses in the area.
A committed wife and mother of two school age children, Michelle understands the importance of integrating her passion for business while creating a happy home. She is often asked how she gets everything done, while still maintaining her dignity, integrity and grace! Her keys to success include modeling core values, attention to self care, an effective virtual team, and planning for the future to create both a profitable, meaningful business and a purposeful life.
